Danny Fox Trio CD Release Show
Follow @wordpressdotcomFew weeks ago, The Danny Fox Trio celebrated the release of their debut record “The One Constant” with a New York CD Release show at Littlefield, Brooklyn. It was such an honor to be the official videographer of the night! Here’s a promo with shots from the show:

Life as Orchids
Follow @wordpressdotcomSpring is here and flowers are blooming! I recently got invited by a friend to The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden, it was a rainy weekend but thank goodness the show was indoor. Looking at the orchids makes me think of Malaysia and if the Orchids could talk, we would probably share similar sentiments of being able to live in New York City despite our humble origins from Southeast Asia. Such is where beauty are cultivated
West Coast Springing
After leaving my sweet LA home for more than 3 years, the opportunity to return for a visit finally came in the form of an invitation to join an old friend for a road trip adventure from Los Angeles, CA to Vail, CO to attend the Vail Film Festival. What better opportunity for me to break out my Nikon D7000! Here are some photos from the trip: Most are shot on the D7000 and only a few from my HTC Evo Andriod phone.
Brooklyn Snowing
Follow @wordpressdotcomI saw my first snow in NYC in 2007, since then I’ve been feeling ambivalent towards snow. They can be so pure and pretty one moment then turn into dirty black slush the next; but snow in my lovely neighborhood Williamsburg Brooklyn, has always been the best, especially on non-working days- Snow Days!! :)
UndoneWorship- Behind The Scene
As promised, here is the Behind The Scene video of UndoneWorship’s Live Recording!
Blind Spot (Dreams know no limit)
My heart goes out to the earthquake victims in Haiti. News like this always reminds me of how fragile life on this earth can be, and compared to the less fortunate people who had to leave earth prematurely, we are lucky enough to be given the opportunity to continue to pursue our dreams.
Besides the news about the earthquake, I was really touched by another news I’ve come across while I was looking up the works of some past winners of the Artistwanted contest. “I never really took photography seriously until I went totally blind”, were the words of Pete Eckert, a blind visual artist who has caught my attention. This oxymoron has definitely evoked strong emotions in me, as I have rarely seen the adjectives of “blind” and “visual” being used to describe the same person, unless of course, if you’re describing blind as being ‘visually impaired’.
